About Bridgestone Mobility Social Impact Awards
Bridgestone Mobility Social Impact Awards, or MSIA, identify, recognize and promote sustainable mobility innovations that employ enterprising technologies and solutions for social advancement.
These awards reflect Bridgestone’s commitment to advance the cause of safe and sustainable mobility for all.
THE AWARDS SERVE THREE PURPOSES:
Recognize the efforts
Recognize and promote best practices on innovation and use of Mobility solutions as a tool for social advancement.
Providing Networking Opportunities
Increased engagement with stakeholders and key players in the Mobility space.
Amplifying the reach
Identify, appreciate, and recognize solutions and initiatives towards improving and enhancing mobility solutions contributing to SDGs.
THE AWARD
Top project under each category will be awarded.
The winner and runners-up will be awarded a citation and a trophy.
The winning initiatives undertaken by the NGOs will be considered for a cash award for some upgradation of the initiative submitted. This will be totally based on the merit of the proposed plan of action.
All finalists will receive a Certificate of Appreciation.
CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION
ELIGIBILITY:
NGOs, not for profit entities can submit their relevant ongoing initiatives
A minimum of three years’ experience required for an organization to apply.
Only organizations/entities registered in India are allowed to participate.
EVALUATION FRAMEWORK
Relevance of the Initiative: Innovation or Solution using mobility as a means or increasing mobility as a solution.
Impact on society
Creativity of the idea
Sustainability of the Project
Scalability of the idea

THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS
Call for nomination
Applications will be invited and promoted through various platforms.
Application Validation
After receiving applications, all parameters and eligibility criteria will be checked. It will be processed to next round only after fulfilling all pre-decided qualifying requirements.
Assessment and shortlisting
Nominations will be screened by an expert panel. The purpose will be to assess eligibility, qualification based on pre-decided parameters in terms of ethics, governance, compliance, and relevance of the initiative.
On site visit
Shortlisted entries post first round of assessment may have to go through a physical site verification. This process will evaluate on ground reality and effectiveness of the program against the points mentioned in the respective application forms.
Presentation before the jury
The final shortlisted applicants will make a presentation before a jury. The jury will select the winner and runner ups.
Award Ceremony
All finalists who attended jury round will be invited for the award ceremony wherein winners will be declared. Awards and prize money will be handed over during this ceremony.
